Is it worth watching TV on the Xbox because of electricity costs?

I know the Xbox One by itself uses up a lot of electricity, but does watching TV connected through the HDMI make it a lot worse? For those of you who do this, have you noticed a large increase in the bill? Watching TV through the Xbox is very convenient, but I'm not sure if it's worth the cost.

At most, it would be only a few dollars more. These systems are built with energy saving in mind.

No, that's not what I meant by that I'm just confused on how the Xbox One would consume a lot of power.

I don't see anything wrong with that sentence.

A lot of current.
No one says that, but correct.

How much more did you see?
It only uses 1 kW every 4 hours.
That is $3 per month if you watch 4 hours TV every day.

He already explained himself, so I don't know why you brought it back up.

It uses like 100 watts Soooo.

Do 100 x the amount of hours you watch / 1000 * what you pay per kWh. That will tell you how much it uses.

I haven't but I only used it for a month and I realized it wasn't worth running my Xbox constantly. The electricity isn't what bothered me so much but the idea of wearing the system out sooner
