Samsung 40" 1080p 120 refresh rate 3D TV for 399 what's your take on it?

Samsung UN40FH6030FXZA is the model 399.99 on sale... 40" 1080p 120 refresh rate and it's a 3D TV, but not a smart TV which I didn't need being my Xbox One am getting I can do all that with...

What do you gamers think of this TV or does anyone have this model and should I buy a extra warranty on it? 2 extra years would cost me 50 more...

I was wondering is the 3D something worth getting in a TV being I have never played or seen a movie in 3D but heard it makes things pop out of the screen at you...

i read some reviews and mostly they say it's good especially for the price, but it's cheaply made and "flimsy"

3D is not worth it IMO, especially for gaming. I have a 50" 3D LED TV and don't really use the 3D. The movies are pretty expensive at times costing twice as much as the regular blu-ray. The most important thing is input lag, Samsung is usually good with this.

For $70 more you can get the Samsung UN40H5500 40-Inch, it is a pretty good tv and a good gaming tv with only 28 ms input delay.

Most samsung tv have bad input lag into the high 40's especially the larger tv. Right now sony is the best for input lag as alot of their tv's are in the 20's

I read that smart TV's can cause input lag, that if you didn't need or want it, it would be better to get it without it....

About the 3D I was asking because a few games support the 3D and I didn't know it that would make the game more fun or cooler to play...

I have never owned a Samsung TV but I thought they was suppose be of good quality? I thought 400 wasn't to bad of a price considering it 3D which makes TV's cost a lot more plus it has pretty good specs compared to other brands out there that I've seen cost from 350 on up and don't have the 3D or the 120 refresh rate or as good of overall spec number... The Samsung UN40H5500 you say is 70 bucks more but why is it more than the one I mention being it same size TV with about the same specs but that one is smart TV?

Yea that one is a smart tv but no 3d and it is one of the lowest input lags for 2014 samsung tv's. I have personally never heard of the smart part of a tv causing input lag. They mostly run of the cpu that are now in those tv's.

Well I have now a LG 32" 720p and not sure what the input lag is but I have never noticed a problem gaming... Also I will have to look both Samsung's up to see if I can find the input lag and compare but being but are Samsung this year models I don't think there going be way off from one another...
