Which one is more open world ish and rpg ish?

Create a character and all that jazz?

I hate playing a predetermined character on a path. I like creating my own and having options

Like fallout and skyrim

You wont create a character at all in Witcher 3. You can make decisions though.

Dragon age comes out months ahead of Witcher 3. Get both.

Dragon Age looks alright, but the characters seem to be something out of some angsty teenagers fanfiction.

I don't really trust Bioware anymore after DA2 and ME3, so I'm playing the waiting game with DA3.

Witcher 3 is going to blow Dragon Age out of the water.

I haven't seen enough of both games to say that, but I want to play them both. This is why I'm honestly not mad that both aren't coming out this fall.

You can change his hair and armor. I believe that's all.

But yes you can make decisions. In a preview from some time ago, even decision Geralt makes in sidequests have a big impact. In one a village ceased to exist because the player decided to kill some tree monster or something.

But I agree that both are day one purchases.
