Actually, it is wrong to educate expose someone else's child to subject matter that they do not want their child exposed too. It is up to either the parent to decide or up to the child to ask question. But, if they aren't harming their own children physically or mentally, then you really have no right to tell them what to do. The same goes for gay or bisexual parents, just how it goes. Unless you desire to personally have a hand in shaping that child's future, then your mouthing off is still that.

I never told him he couldn't, I just think it's pretty stupid of him to do so. I can't tell him what to do, regrettably I am not God, I can't just tell people to do something and have them do it. If I could I'd be too busy surrounded by hot guys all day to debate with people on the internet :P

It can be mentally damaging actually. I can tell you as someone who grew up in a household that barred me from seeing content which displayed homosexuality in any sort of positive light it was very difficult for me to come to terms with my sexuality. It's a very painful experience believing that having those thoughts makes you some freak that will burn in hell for all eternity.

Of course now that s*** doesn't bother me. I'm damn proud to be a freak, and if I end up in hell so be it, all the funnest people are there, not to mention all the best bands :P

Yes, but the problem is that you have no right to influence his child's education, in black and white that is what the truth is. He can be the biggest jerk in the whole world and teach his children that descrimination is okay, so long as he doesn't break any laws doing so or so long as it leading the child to breaking any laws. He isn't right for doing it, but it is within his legal right and authority.

Urgh managed to read halfway through this before the idiocy got too much. At the risk of verging into SJW territory here, all you people saying "its fine as long as it isn't rubbed in my face" YOU ARE THE REASON THIS A BIG DEAL. SOME PEOPLE ARE GAY. THIS IS A THING THAT HAPPENS IN THE REAL WORLD. DEAL WITH IT!!!!.

People are indeed allowed to raise their child any way they wish so long as no laws are broken, I never denied that. Conversely, I am also allowed to criticize or question them for it. Freedom of speech and all that.
