After reading all that, I think he'd feel ashamed of the PS4 fan base, as Phil would with the XBox fan base.

"The attitude was great, like from Phil Spencer. I read and listened to his interviews, and he's a reasonable, smart guy, compared to some other people who used to say some unbelievable things." (remember major nelson telling angry joe? Come to da future! And you can't turn off DRM easily)

....Some of those unbelievable things, of course, came from the mouth of the departed Don Mattrick in the heated days following Xbox One's announcement. In many ways Microsoft has been playing catch-up ever since, with a change in management following a change in policies that climaxed, most recently, with the removal of the expensive Kinect peripheral from the core Xbox One bundle.

Yes. Don Mattrick was a goof. Good on Phil to replace him.

How silly he looked before he quit MS:

So what do you think. Will the gap close between MS and sony sales in time?

Is there even a release date for Xbone in Japan yet? any word?

Last I heard Phil spoke about getting ready for Japan, he never gave a date though.

They just talked about how Scalebound was a japanese exclusive from Platinum games that should help them.

Yoshida said before that putting Spencer in charge was a smart move by Microsoft, since he was the only "human" guy there.

Sales gap isn't going to be closing any time soon, unless the PS4 sales suddenly stop and the Xbox one starts selling hundreds of thousands a month, which isn't going to happen.

Xbox launches in Japan in September, if I remember correctly.

Phil Spencer is cool.

Just gotta get rid of "Major Nelson" now and then all is right with the world.
