how is microsoft with repairs?

I bought one really cheap with a busted drive (would probably download most of my games anyway) but would MS still honor a repair since its technically still w/i warranty or would I have to pay (or at worst eventually do it myself)?

You might have them fix it but, it takes like a month to get it back. OR you send them the xbox one and they send you advance replacment and if you dont send yours in they charge your card.

Best bet is to try and register it on Xbox.com . Then you can see it's warranty status and fill a claim.

Cool, thanks. Saw it costs like $130 to repair out of warranty. Worst case ill buy a cheap spare parts drive and do it myself
