From what I know, people used to use their mics back in the Halo 2 days.

Even when I got into online with Halo 3, people still used their mics. I think it was part of what made the online better.

So I ask, do you think everyone being in party chat will down the nostalgiaHalo2trip for you?

For me it will but only when I decide to play solo. It would be cool if games these days would recognize you have a mic plugged in and give you mic'd teammates.

Or better yet a "Party Finder" option where you'll enter a few personal questions and the game will find you some friends haha. Everyone will have a couple minutes to introduce themselves and then jump into a match versus another team.

Damn i should have been a game engineer...

Those were different times, man. One of the main reasons why Halo 2 was so good, almost literally everyone got Live for it and we were all there for love of the game. It's not gonna be the same this time around. Not saying it's going to be bad or anything, but that kind of magic doesn't exist now that there's so many people with Live.
Look, Mama! I'm on GameFAQs!
