Its EA, nothing they do surprises me anymore i would not be surprised if they charged a subscription fee for origin to play BF online in addition to paying for XBL Gold and PSN+

Activision tried this practice (thanks to Pachter ramming it down everybody's throats) on CoD and it failed.

EA need to wake up and face reality or they are seriously going to suffer in the financial side eventually. Trust has passed them already but there is only so much people will take before they ignore your products altogether, and believe me, they will.

EA's games might be popular but the quality is all over the place and the masses will wise up to them one day.

Some sites were reporting this as a glitch, but it's still up, so I think this is for real.

lmao

How the hell could it be a glitch? If the price wasn't nicely rounded then maybe.. but there is no way it just "happened" to land on $4.99

Oh EA, you crazy

It's something they've been planning for a long time:

So even if this gets reversed, it could be EA testing the waters.

I agree it's highly unlikely to be a glitch, especially because it's on all of their sports titles and not just one of them.

You said "demo" and "costs" in the same sentence.

WTF is wrong with this picture???

You guys are so entitled. EA shouldn't just give you all free s*** because you want it. They worked for it so either pay the price or shut the f*** up.

I swear this generation is nothing but spoiled brats.

Well I'll be damned. Watch Dogs is quite good.

The reason they dropped the online pass was due to xbox one's always online DRM policy EA thought Xbox one would be the dominant console this gen and supported M$ drive to kill used games market, which in turn would lead to more sales of EA games

Though thanks to the PS4, M$ had to 180 this and now EA needs something to get the money they assumed they would get from killing used games
