Xbox one netflix doesn't stream like xbox 360 does.. *please read*

So I got an xbox one. One night I wanted to watch a movie and it seemed to take a long time to get it to HD... Then it would start going in and out of hd.. After getting fusterated i tested my 360 netflix and it worked fine... Went to hd instantly. And stayed HD..

Why is that?

The answer is right in front of you. The X1s Netflix app is not as good as the one on the 360. The 360 now uses the same type of app the PS3 and PS4 use. Then one the 360 had before that was god awful. The X1s app's UI is less responsive, and stream quality is far more inconsistent than the 360 as you have noticed. Of course it will improve in time, but until then, I would stick to another means.

I actually find the quality of Netflix to be much better on the X1. It's faster, clearer, and I've never had any issues.

I too have never had any issues.

Are they in the same location?
Are there IP conflicts?
Are you wired or wireless?

My X1 is running a wired connection, my 360 is using the wi fi adapter, both play in full HD every time for me. I have no complaints.

Mine only goes out of HD if I am using all the bandwidth for downloading.

I've never had any problems, even while downloading and using nexflix. Of course I use 4G/LTE free wifi tether on rooted galaxy s3 with sprints unlimited data, so I have a minimum speed of 10mbps. Its all in the connection speed my friend. Get better internet is all I can say.

The 360 had the original Netflix app.

Same for me as well. I don't think I've ever had it drop out of HD yet. I just don't like the layout for Netflix on the Xbox One.
