I'm worried. Game looked great in the demo at E3. May get cancelled now? I want to play it.

game director Hasit Zala is said to have left his position at developer Crytek UK.

its Development Manager Ben Harris has also left the company earlier this month. Harris’ departure is reflected by his Linkedin page, but Zala’s Linkedin says that he’s still with Crytek, though it could simply be outdated.

The news follows previous reports that 30 or more employees left Crytek UK since development on Homefront: The Revolution began in 2011, and that morale at the Nottingham-based studio is "low." One source said that the high turnover at Crytek UK is the result of staff not being paid on time on multiple occasions.

Previous report. RIP Crytek. It was fun times back then =(

What a shame. Homefront: The Revolution seemed like a huge upgrade over the original.

It's not outright cancelled as far as I know. Don't sound so final just yet.

Sucks for them employment-wise, but no loss for gamers IMO.

This. Devs need to realize that making an FPS is no longer the best way to cash in on gaming. Genre has been beaten to death from all angles, and COD has been king since Modern Warfare.

Another military shooter made by a company that can't seem to make fun games is not something I'm going to miss.

...I'll just play Wolfenstein again if I ever want an awesome FPS.

Well I'll be damned. Watch Dogs is quite good.

Cods reign at the top is falling fast, with Destiny on the way and people getting bored of Cod I think that Destiny could do better this year and knock it off its perch tbh, but we will see.

This. I have Crysis 2 and it put me to sleep with how boring it is. Crysis on PC was fun for a couple hours, but it just felt a tech demo.

And I just preordered that game a month ago. Oh well, less money spent if it is cancelled I guess.
