Xbox One controller vs Xbox 360 controller question

#1killtacular30Posted 7/16/2014 7:51:49 AM
I just got me a Xbox One/Kinect with 3 games for 300 bucks used... But to me the Xbox One controller doesn't feel as good as the 360 one, when I hold it in my hand it doesn't feel as comfortable and it not as easy to click the top shoulder buttons as it was on the 360 and I don't like the new thumb sticks either... Does anyone else have the same problem as I do?

I actually prefer the Xbox one controller, whenever I use my 360 controller, I feel it as downgrade... Maybe I got used to the Xbox one controller

If you went from the 360 controller right to the X-1 controller it takes a bit for you to readjust but now it feels just as good as the 360 controller did for me.

I will try and see it from your point of view, but I doubt we'll be able to fit both our heads up there.

Same here I got use to it now when I go back to 360 the sticks feel ridiculously fat and the controller feels heavier.

Even if I get used to holding the Xbox One controller to me it still seems for me to click the upper trigger buttons isn't as easy as it was to use them on the 360...

The easiest way is to rest your index finger on the trigger and just shift it upwards to hit the bumper.

It's an awesome design imo.

I can it feels a lot different to me but I just got the console yesterday, but never had a problem when I first got the 360 I could tell a difference that it was better over the regular Xbox...

An awesome controller design doesn't require instructions imo.

X1 controller is far superior to the 360 -- and I love the 360 controller.

But the X1 has a better feel, and those thumb sticks are superb. I never knew how bad the 360 thumb sticks were until I tried the X1.

Hopefully you'll get used to it, TC.
