Do timed exclusives or timed DLC/exclusive DLC have any sway on your purchase?

I can say for me that i have never had an interest in times or exclusive DLC. From what i have seen most games the exclusive DLC or exclusive missions are maybe an extra half hour to hour of gameplay that in the end doesn't really matter. And as far as timed DLC or timed release of a game i know that i just need a little patience if i want it on a certain system. This goes for both the PS and Xbox, doesn't matter which console does it.

Exclusive DLC tends to be crappy most of the time anyways
Take a look at Diablo 3 on the PS4
All the exclusive content is going to be mediocre
Rip and tear! Rip and tear your guts! You are huge! That means you have huge guts! Rip and tear!

Doesn't sway me, mainly because I'm not a PlayStation fan anyways. It does annoy me though that companies do it, regardless of what system it's done for. Well timed isn't that bad, but totally exclusive is.

So far no. I just buy for whichever system I want to play the game on. Or I let prices do the dictating for me.

Still waiting on the Wii u version for watch dogs despite every other system getting a release already. I would change this to ps4 if it dropped to 30 or less within the next two weeks.

Buying Destiny for my x1 simply because I have Xbox gold and no ps plus.

They did until I found out they suck and aren't part of the whole game for a reason.

I t depends on how important the DLC is to the experience. As a multiconsole owner, I will not purchase a multiplatform game that does 100% exclusive content (besides skins) for only 1 platform that it is on. Timed exclusive does not bother me as eventually everyon will get it, but when it is 100% exclusive (like what Ubisoft does with Sony and the Assassins Creed series), I do not make the purchase (this goes the other way too, if the content on multiplatform is 100% Xbox exclusive I do not buy it either). Developers need to decide, is the game multiplatform or not.

I don't pay attention to that.
Xbox one, PS3, Wii
Play for the games not the evil corporation, they're all evil in the end.
