Question about external hard drive and game speed

Will storing everything on my external hard drive decrease my game performance since data can only move thought the usb at a certain speed?

um, no?

it's not faster than SATA III which is 6.0 Gbps

never mind the overhead of USB that affects real world throughput

Which would be relevant if the One didn't use SATA II.

no, i dont use an external hd but from what ive read on the forums performance is about the same and even a slight bit better with external hd

just make sure you get a 7200rpm drive from a reliable manufacturer and youll be set
