Battlefield: Hardline delayed until 2015 following beta feedback

In a statement online, DICE VP Karl Magnus Troedsson said that the team at Visceral would use the time to make changes to the game and improve stability.

Referring to the game's beta, Troedsson said: "This feedback also spurred us to start thinking about other possibilities and ways we could push Hardline innovation further and make the game even better.

"The more we thought about these ideas, the more we knew we had to get them into the game you will all be playing.

"However, there was only one problem. We would need more time. Time that we didn't have if we decided to move forward with launching in just a couple of months.

"We decided that the right thing to do was to take more time to ensure Hardline is the best, most innovative Battlefield experience we can give to you, our fans."

Troedsson said that the team would introduce new multiplayer innovations that would "evolve the cops and criminals fantasy into a truly unique Battlefield Multiplayer experience".
The single-player campaign will support a deeper "crime revenge" story experience, while countless fixes will be made to improve stability.

If it was actually response to feedback then they should cancel the damn game

Meh.

Bring on Battlefront 3 and Rainbow 6 Siege.

Even the new CoD look more worth buying than Hardline is or than BF4 was.

Let me know when DICE make Bad Company 3 or another sci-fi Battlefield again .

I am just fine with Battlefield 4. I would only purchase another Battlefield game if it took place during World War II, Korean War, or Vietnam War.
