Sounds like a replacement for online pass from last generation. Make you buy the game digital so you can't sell it at Gamestop.

This is a lot like the ea season ticket from last gen. I tried it out last year for early access to NHL 14 and it was pretty cool even if it was missing a couple modes in the early access version.

If all I have to do this year is pay $5 to get early access to NHL 15 I will definitely be doing so!
