Are there any sites that actually review indie games? I want to see how they are first before buying

Why the hell was Rogue Legacy brought into this in the first place? *Scrolls back* OK, Yup, I really should wear my glasses while reading GFaqs. :-P I'll move along now.

Destructoid does a lot of indie game reviews. Polygon and Joystiq are also pretty good too. I think Rock Paper Shotgun is another site to check out every now and then for PC indie stuff.

IGN has also been doing a lot of the indie reviews on the PS4 (and presumably on the X1 as well).

Only problem I had with 1001 Spikes was the grinding at the end to get the achievement for buying everything (you need at least a million coins along with another 50 thousand or so).

Great game. I refuse to play 5-3 ever again, I died about 200 times.

haha yeah I brought it off topic pretty much immediately. I'm currently obsessed with Rogue Legacy again and I have been spreading the word to people who are interested in these types of games. Its got the difficult platforming (not AS difficult) of 1001 Spikes, but with an insane amount of depth, stat and gear leveling and one of the coolest upgrade systems ever.
