that it was a brilliant move by Microsoft to put the discs on the left side of their game cases.

I assume because it's (slightly) easier to remove the disc for right-handed people, which is most people.

Oh, i can say i honestly didn't notice or didn't care that it switched sides. The sad thing is a regularly go back and forth between X1 and 360.

Wow what a truly innovative and next generation move. I can't believe how far we've come.

Seriously? The disc is on the left side? What an amazing time to be alive.

I hate the Xbox 360 standing up for the disc location, since you shouldn't stand a x1 up I haven't noticed or cared.

That's actually pretty false. At least for me, it's much easier to open a game case and remove the disc when the disc is on the right side, because I hold the case in my right hand while the left one takes it out. I am right handed, can't write with my left and a lot of common things in life feel awkward when done with the left hand for me.

If anyone doesn't have an Xbone and wants to check out whether it's easier or harder to take a game out of the case whether it's on the left or right, just flip the case upside down. It'll still oen from the same side but the disc will be on the opposite side.
