What game turned you into a gamer?

Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt for the NES. That's all it took!

Probably the same for me.

Castlevania II: Simon's Quest

I'm surprised that didn't make you an anti gamer. I remember having to call one of those gaming hotlines because nowhere in the God damn game does it imply that you have to kneel down on some random corner with a specific object to summon a stupid f***ing tornado to carry you to the next area.

What a horrible night to have a curse? F*** YOU!

Ahem. That's my first memory of a game sending me into a binding rage.

Hard to say for me...

I started out with pinball at restaurants my parents would let me play to shut me up.

Soon I was playing spy hunter (again in a restaurant) , I loved it but I don't think that's what did it for me.

Double Dragon (seriously, why don't restaurants have arcade anymore?), now this was right up my alley, I remember it vividly. I asked my dad if the guy I was playing gave the bad guys the middle finger or something because I couldn't figure out why they wanted to fight me... I walked out of the Spaghetti Factory punching and kicking the air. I doubt I even made it to Abobo&source, but I was hooked. Ah to be 8 again.
