Destiny - 49.99
Alien Isolation - 49.99
The Evil Within - 49.99
Evolve - 44.99
Sunset Overdrive - 49.99
Costume Quest - 11.99

GRAND TOTAL: 628.85 ($1059.90)
VERDICT: OPTIMISTIC SKINTNESS

Buddy you're spending too much on games. You can get most of them much cheaper by shopping around.

That said, it will still be an expensive time for you anyway.

I'm not saying it won't be worth it, I'm saying most of the prices he's listed are too much.

Just for example, I've found Metro Redux for 26.79 by searching one site.
So although he's probably getting great hours of fun for a good price, he could do much better and buy even more for the same amount.

I was only taking RRP into account. Moreover, it's an optimistic list anyway. Judging by how my finances tend to lean towards the end of the year, I'll be lucky to get half of those! But yeah - calculations based on current recommended retail pricing.
