Do you think we will get another Rayman this gen?

Ubi was pumping out Rayman games even when they weren't really in demand.

I am sure we will get another one eventually.

Legends and Origins were awesome! Can't wait for another, I've finished everything there is to do in Legends and still play it just for the challenges. Origins was harder though but I still feel that Legends was the better game. More content, better level design, cool characters. Really fun game!

While I'd like the next one to have a level editor and online multiplayer, I can easily see why both of those won't happen. Level editor would take away from Ubisoft being able to release another game too early, and any sort of lag would mess most everything up.

I really hope we get another one. Origins and Legends were some of the best platformers that I have ever played.

Hopefully. But get rid of Murfy sections and stages.

Well Ubisoft isn't really supporting wii u any more so I see the next Rayman to not have touchscreen controlls unless they do smartglass...

I could see them only supporting the Wii U with rayman. I mean it sold the 2nd most out of all the consoles, with the lowest install base.

The Murfy bits were a joy to play on Wii U, but a bit of a nuisance/unnecessary on other platforms.

That's what happens when you design the game around a singular platform and then port it to formats without the same functionality.

I respect them for doing what they did - it was innovative - but next time, I think if you're going to make it multiplatform, make the design model more universal.

Tiny gripe aside - some of the best platforming games I've seen in about a decade.

I 100% Origins, and beat Legends. Both are incredible games.

A third one would be great.

Would a return to the 3D games be good, too?

I view Rayman in 3D like I do a new DK in 3D. It might be fun but they do so well in 2D I don't want them to try. Sorry if that doesn't make sense. It's like if black tusk they made a first person shooter gears.
