Which native resolution looks better on a 42" 720p TV? 1080p or 900p?

Your 720p tv is a perfect companion for the XBox One. Your games will look just fine. If you ever do decide to pick up a PS4, you can check out some 1080p tv's. It's not necessary per se, just a personal choice.

1080P would look better on the 720P than 900P, when the native resolution gets downsampled it basically acts as AA making the image more sharper and clearer

I run some games at 4K resolutions but my display is 2560x1440, it offers sharper image without a huge drain on performance as AA causes.
