Get some of their own studios to make new exclusive games?

These games getting ported over to the PC are just third party titles published with a 'Not-to-be-released on-PlayStation' contract.

Microsoft wants games on the PC. I thought this was obvious by now.

I think people really really over-estimate how many people have pc's capable of playing games at a high visual level, know how to increase the performance of their pc's in assorted ways, know what to look for when buying a pc, or play that much on pc.

Microsoft doesn't believe investing their own studios so Xbox will always have smallest and least diverse exclusive library of any platform. Buying 3rd party games is expensive so that is why they usually end up on PC as a compromise.

The only major major studios they have invested in recently have been reduced to sequel factories (343/Halo and Black Tusk/Gears).

We don't have to over estimate, the figures for Steam users playing online speaks for itself. Btw the population is higher than any next gen console FYI.

BTW to the person who mentioned Project Spark, that is coming to PC too lol.

MS had always done this and frankly it's the only reason I got a 360 last gen. Played gears of war and wanted more so I got one.

This is actually starting to get out of hand. While the hardware isn't as good as the competition, people are still buying the One for the exclusives. Now that Ryse has been lost and added to a growing list of exclusives being released on a non-Xbox platform, what do us Xbox fans think should be done? There is even a rumor of the Halo collection being released on PC. Let's figure this out Xbros!

Yep things are getting crazy. The X1 is getting Sunset, Scalebound, MCC, Phantom Dust reboot, project Sparků

I can see why you're concerned.

Project Spark is on PC.

From my experience, most, if not all, PC gamers absolutely refuse to buy a console anyways due to spending so much money on their gaming rigs and having a superiority complex.

Most Xbox exclusives come out to PC until enough Xbox consoles are sold to warrant an "Xbox only" decision. Gears of War 1 was on PC, as was Halo 1 and Halo 2. Xbox games only with no PC release usually start coming during the 2nd or 3rd year of the consoles release, when enough consoles exist in the world to make a decent amount of money on the game.

You could not be more wrong. Myself and everyone I know that games on PC will also buy consoles for exclusives not available. I have a Wii U and a PS4 for exactly this reason.
