The games aren't selling well enough. I wouldn't be surprised if contracts drawn up with MS have clauses that assure the developer that's X amount of units are sold. If they aren't met then they can explore other systems to return there spend.

That's more than likely the case. Since they can keep their IP they are free to do whatever they want with it.

Man, Ryse 2 is hinted to be multiplat. And it's sure to look more gorgeous on the ps4, that's sure to rustle some xbone jimmies.

This is sort of a desperation move. They needed money to pay their employees, so they sold off the rights to Homefront 2 to Deep Silver who created a new studio comprised of a lot of the people who quit Crytek.

That most likely wasn't enough, so they decided to put Ryse on PC to make a little more money. Porting probably hasn't cost them much, and they'll likely make millions in profit.

Porting to PS4 would take longer, and cost more money, which is probably why this appears to be PC only for now.

It's a Microsoft published game, everything that is happening to Crytek is irrelevant when Microsoft is holding the contracts for publishing the game.

Third party games are a toss up when it comes to Microsoft.

After all of this, i'm positive that sunset overdrive and quantum break will be on other platforms too.

That's when you will talk positive about those games right?

It's being published by Deep Silver (and Crytek digitally) for PC.

Yikes! The trolls are reaching hard now. It's full on desperation mode when you see the same troll that just posted in a topic start an entire thread about the same topic. How old are you kid? If you're a grown man then this just got even more pathetic.

What makes you more mature if you feel the need to post a comment about trolls/people you don't care about?

aaah that delicious irony * munch munch *

One thing ive learned last gen is that 3rd party exclusives usually end up on other platforms somehwere down the line.

What can you say. Everyone knows the X-1 exclusives were the best games out and thus other platforms want them.

I will try and see it from your point of view, but I doubt we'll be able to fit both our heads up there.
