They're both great. That said, the first has more of a helpless/survival feeling, and the second is more polished and cinematic. TC, I say it's a divisive couple of games to pick from. You won't hurt from getting them both, I assure you :D --- Double Jump Game Comics: http://doublejump.thecomicseries.com/
Never played them before, but now I'm happy I didn't as I'll love playing this version, where both games come together =) --- Xbox One Day 1 Edition! Add me~ Xbox Live: Bad Luck Ink | Twitch: badluckink
That's tough because both games are awesome. I suggest getting both, but Sigma kinda sums it up. The first one really pulled that helpless feeling off well, but the controls and aiming needed a little work. Last Light came out and touched up nicely on the shooting mechanics and polished everything with a more cinematic feel to it.
Im not sure how the gameplay/controls will be handled on the redux version, but based on the old games, if you prefer better/more fluid controls, go with Last Light. I really do suggest playing both though if possible. They are both worth your time. --- XBL- cheezedadada PSN- cheezedadadada PC, Xbox One, PS4, etc.
If you plan on getting both eventually then you really should play 2033 first as last light is a direct sequel. I thought 2033 was a better experience as it had a really creepy atmosphere, however last light polished the gameplay quite a lot. With redux you can play 2033 with all the enhanced gameplay and graphics of last light!
Thanks for all the input, guys! I'll start with 2033. I was interested in them when they first came out but never got around to playing them. I'm glad that I waited though. --- GT - Typ3 O Negativ3 "Don't mistake lack of talent for genius"
