Freeing up that Kinect power really helped!

Fight the good fight pixel warrior! I'll be here enjoying my games while you're on the front lines risking your integrity for plastic boxes. Don't back down! You can win this kiddo!

But releasing TLOU on PS4 did nothing to stem the tide of bored PS4 fanboys still waiting for something with replay value.

"PS4 hits its 60fps target at full 1080p, while Xbox One currently stands at a curious 912p native resolution - that would be something in the region of 1620x912 (assuming square pixels). The original plan for Xbox One was to ship at 900p, but the June XDK update (returning the Kinect GPU resources to developers) has allowed for a tiny resolution boost."

A whole 12p.

Must be a shame not to be able to enjoy a game with a res below 1080p. What did you do prior to this gen?

PC.

The difference between 1080p and 912p is insane and you can totally notice.

Xbox One, always doing too little too late.

Yeah for the people who don't own the console. It's the weirdest thing. It seems all the people bashing or complaining about the X1, don't actually own one. I don't understand how that works or why people think that's not a weird thing to do.

Or any value at all.

It's the PS3 all over again. Maybe in a few years you guys will get something.

X1 suffers the same problem. You and so many others must be new to gaming or else you'd know pretty much every recent console release is stagnant for at least 1 - 1.5 years.

There is nothing at all I want on the X1 that I can't already play on my PC or PS4. Nothing.

At least you can wait a year for video games to come out. You can't wait a year for a console to magically get a better cpu/gpu.

on topic: This is still no news though. I don't think such a minute resolution increase is worthy of being called "news"

Digital Foundry continues to prove it's a joke. They remind me a lot of The Verge with liking and thinking of Apple products being the best. The same love is always shown towards Sony's products over Microsoft's with DF.
