Microsoft Xbox One quote from May 2013 "We purposefully did not target the highest end graphics. We targeted it more as a broad entertainment player."

Okay, so basically it's just a time exclusive, no need for all that fuss.

Frankly I think that EA Access offer is much better, I just wished Microsoft could come with some kind of Xbox One offer on their own.

He might as well just say he paid to keep it away from pc/ps4 gamers.

He's leading it to slaughter and he knows it.
It will not be elevated in anyway shape or form.

It's going against Halo 5 and Uncharted 4
what else is unknown but there will be more (thought QB was releasing sooner)
but just going against Halo on xboxone is fail,
add Uncharted and all the other holiday games and it's easy to see this game getting railroaded into the ground.

He can say whatever though,
it does 'fit' where MS was never good enough to fill the gap with their 1st parties.
Won't change the outcome.

good to see you read it with a unbias mind.

seems to me they were approached by Square to help invest in tomb raider. Sounds like Sony was approached too and passed.

I have a feeling we will see more things like this because of the cost of making a AAA game and how some studios will struggle financially to make that happen and need an investor.

It is sad how negative gamers are. When a story breaks they automatically and without question look for the most negative spin to a story and grasp onto that with everything they got.

It's not spin lol.

How will it elevate anything releasing against thee reason to own an xbox game,
and Uncharted 4 amongst other things.

He was legit in saying the xbox library needed it, but it would have gotten it either way.

Just putting Lara out to pasture is all.

maybe. You are right. But people automatically go there, but it doesn't mean its the truth.

But looking at the industry and how many studios are in financial crisis, is it really that hard to see these studios asking for investments into their game?

and there is no company that would invest that type of money and not expect some type of concessions.
