There have been a lot of reports on defective bluray drives, sounds like you got one of em.

This wasn't even a fun read... what a waste.

Also waste of an alternate account.

And still posting on a console he doesn't even own any more.

And, does it matter? I don't own any of the three current gen consoles, does that mean I can't post on the Xbone board? No it does not, it is a open board and anyone is free to post on these.

I just bought an xbox one today and the exact same thing is happening, I can play blu rays and dvds but it wont recognize the game I bought, it was the new ufc game that came with the bundle.. I don't understand why tho ?

Yes you're right, if you want to discuss fine, but just complain gets tiring.. And the constant Click bait topics are unending.. I'm not saying you can't post, it's the mindless ones that happen every day here...

I really doubt you got 2 defective systems in a row

I don't. This doesn't surprise me at all.

So...I've spent the better part of the last 12 hours trying to find a solution for the same thing. I got my xbox one yesterday afternoon from BB.COM delivered. Set everything up, and everything seemed to be fine until I put in a game disc...11 brand new games one by one...all said the same 0x80820002 error. Brought it down to local Best Buy and same thing happened with the next THREE! Whatever update is being pushed by MS during the initial setup seems to be doing this. Going to try and get online with customer service at MS (That seems like an oxymoron) and see what can be done.
