Would you buy a game you didnt want to support a dev you really like?

I think you should to keep the dev going until they make a game you want. If you don't want the game you bought you can give it to charity, but at least you supported your favorite dev. Anyone already do this?

No. This isn't Bizarro World.

If they want my support all they have to do is make games I like.

Nah. jordo bought games based on past experience with the dev hoping those games would be good.

He didn't intentionally buy a game he knew he didn't want just to support a dev he likes. Nobody does that.

Why would I spend money on crap in hopes of the next game not being crap?
#8ThierrymonPosted 8/18/2014 4:11:15 PM
Yes. I have bought multiple versions of games I really love such as Dark Souls. I am also going to buy Metro Redux (i own them already) as I think they are great games and I want to support the developers. I will also buy games that I am not totally sold on because I want to support a certain type of game such as more niche genres. I will likely buy the new Silent Hill game and Evil Within as I want to support horror games.

Yes i do with smaller developers, i even sometimes by the game on multiple platforms if i like the game to support smaller developers.
