Is my Xbox One over heating?

It doesn't feel hot but I keep getting massive frame rate drops when playing Diablo 3

There's nothing wrong with your X1.

That 3 year old game is just being pushed beyond it's weak limits.

If you're serious do you quit apps, everything before playing. If you go into an app or settings they stay open until you quit them. To quit them on the dash push the old start button on the controller on each app or game and if you see quit select it on each item on the dash. Or hard reset, push the power button on the console 10 seconds to shut it off, clears the cache.
