I had a boss that loved cod...he was in the process of moving house and left his tv and xbox at the old house and told the wife he was cleaning but he really was just playing undisturbed call of duty

I'm fairly certain that I've seen this exact topic before.

Anyways, it's not like that for me. Since CoD 2, I've been consistently satisfied with what IW/Treyarch has given me over the years. It was only with Ghosts that I was a bit let down.

CoD2:
Looked fun
Had fun
CoD3:
Looked fun
Had fun
MW:
Looked fun
Had fun
W@W:
Looked fun
Had fun
MW2:
Looked fun
Had fun (Booster hunting FTW)
BLOPS:
Looked fun
Had fun
MW3:
Looked fun
Had fun
BLOPS II:
Looked fun
Had fun
Ghosts:
Looked fun
Didn't have as much fun as I'd hoped. It's still okay.
Advanced Warfare:
Looks fun
Will hopefully be as fun as it looks

But that's just me.

Every year a new Call of Duty game comes out, and every year I am pleasantly excited for them, well maybe except the Treyarch Call of Duty games; they make the worst CoD games, imho. In fact, I am still playing CoD: Ghost and I am seriously considering getting a few of the map packs. I am also picking up the Atlas Pro edition of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in November. So yeah, your OP doesn't apply to me, TC. >_>

You realize every single CoD there are 50 billion topics like this TC? lol We get it... some people hate the series, and some pretend to love it but actually hate it too.

I don't eat doritos and stopped drinking pop over 3 years ago.. I have loved CoD since 3, disliked Ghosts, can't wait for AW. You can't really generalize an entire group of people. :/

statstics is all about generalizing groups of people

lol. IW former shell of itself makes the worst COD games. IMHO. MW3 felt so dated and boring.

This topic says so much about the mentality of the topic creator. His sole purpose on Xbox boards is to troll Xbox because he hates a piece of plastic, then he generalizes an entire fanbase of a game into one fickle person, which seems more like him projecting than anything.

Grow up troll.

You forgot to add: "in my opinion" at the end of your reply to me. lol

Treyarch's CoD games usually have such dated graphics and their maps are tiny compared to the medium-sized maps of IW's Call of Duty games, hence why I do not like Treyarch's CoD games.

TC is absolutely correct. People get hyped for CoD every year then preorder it and buy it then complain about it afterwards every single time. I'm sick of it.

I already did... "imho"..

dated graphics. lol. All COD use a dated milked engine from the Quake days.

I got into Call of Duty at Modern Warfare. I got it a few weeks after it first released, and it was a complete blind purchase. I didn't follow it during the build up. The franchise wasn't even on my radar until CoD4 was recommended to me by friends, just for the reason to play together.

Since then, I have pretty much followed each CoD title during the build up to it's release, to some degree:

WaW I enjoyed. I was the only one of my group from CoD4:MW to stick with it. Made some new friends over Live to play with.

MW2 I enjoyed. Chuckled more than anything at some of the mischief (glitches/exploits). Eyes started rolling at the rise of quick scoping.

BO1 I enjoyed. Nothing to complain about. Rolled eyes at the reverse on quick scoping.

MW3 I disliked. Worst of the lot.

BO2 I enjoyed. Same as BO1. Quick scoping was becoming tiresome though, especially on one of the maps (I think most will know which one I'm talking about). Cringed at the reaction from a certain part of the community when a weapon received a nerf.

Ghosts, though it was the least followed during build up, I just didn't like what I read/heard, so I decided to avoid before it even released.

Advanced Warfare is like Ghosts, what with me hardly following it, and me not being convinced.

That has been my history with the series.
