COD fanbase in a nutshell? do you feel it's true?

I loved every cod to date, with the exception of Ghosts. Stopped playing it after two days, and all i've played was Infected, go figure.

It is unfair to generalize every CoD player as a dudebro. There are also the racist rednecks, annoying little kids and girls that brag about being girl gamers.

Reviews? Polls? Sales? Resolution? FPS? Nothing matters now except for what the competition does not have.

Apart from the fact nobody thought ghosts looked good, it's pretty much spot on

The last part you can still find in other games. I've seen those type girls in BF and Gears of war lol.

I played mostly CoD 2, 3, and 4 then stopped. My younger brother mostly played World at War then Modern Warfare 2 then stopped. My even younger brother mostly played BO, MW3, and BO2 then stopped. None of us bought Ghosts.

That being said, I find it very hard to believe that a single person can buy and play every single CoD without getting tired of it eventually. CoD is just a phase in someone's gamer life, usually when they first start playing online games the majority of their time. The CoD fans grow up and move on and get replaced with younger, newer CoD fans.

You realize every single CoD there are 50 billion topics like this TC? lol We get it... some people hate the series, and some pretend to love it but actually hate it too.

I don't eat doritos and stopped drinking pop over 3 years ago.. I have loved CoD since 3, disliked Ghosts, can't wait for AW. You can't really generalize an entire group of people. :/

But hes super cool didnt you know. His statement pretty much sounds like hes a 14 year old COD kid himself. Ironic

well said. I agree. Same with me, I used to back with COD2 to Black op 1, then outright quit and just have 0 interest in it anymore.

But newer generations will pick it up and give money to Acti-repeat. And the cycle will continue.

So unfortunately this series is gonna keep pumping out every 12 months for the foreseeable future. Vote with your wallet. If people stop paying for COD due to it's redundancy, they will be forced to make bigger changes, or can the series and make a new IP.

Battlefield is better to me these days.
