1) Delorean is an awesome name for that project.
2) Naysayers are going to have a hay day with this. Progress isn't possible in their world.

It's progress but what it does is speculate what the player is going to do and go ahead and perform that input command before the player does anything, Which can be bad for competitive games. I'm interested in how well the prediction works, of course there will be errors but the question is, how much.

You really are one of the worst trolls... Sony is on the verge of bankruptcy, they can't just swoop in and magically have as many servers as MS or steal proprietary code. Although, that would be Sony's style, always imitating true innovators. Analog controls, rumble, motion, touch... They're even playing catch up with VR. And they had to buy a streaming service. They really are a ****ty company when you stop to look at it. Hell, they even tried to rip off VMUs. Pathetic.

You mean how Ms and everyone else copied dual analogue configurations that Sony invented, or how about picture and video capture as well as game streaming that they brought to consoles first, then MS copied months later with their reveal?

Or how about how Kinect is a complete rip off of Sony's Eye Toy? Or how about the Wii Mote that ripped off Sony's 2004 Move technology?

Yeah but Sony copied Microsofts achievements, xbox live/online gaming and using hard drives instead of the awful memory cards on the ps2.

Of the three, Microsoft is easily the most innovative Imo.

I don't see Sony just swooping in and putting in their own version. Microsoft is a company that is already heavily invested in cloud based technology and services. Where as Sony's finances are falling apart.
