Xbox Live vs PSN.Anyone own both consoles?

Hey,i made this topic on the PS4 boards.

Instead of repeating myself i figured i would link to that topic.I own an X1 and have a PS4 pre-ordered and was concerned about the online.I enjoy Live and have no problems with it and hoping for the same on PS4.

On Diablo 3 on 360 me and a friend could be sitting side by side on the couch playing over live and our characters were out of sync yet on the X1 version its almost perfectly in sync.Sounds like Xbox Live has gotten better.

Hoping that PSN has similar success.Anyone own both that can give me a fair comparison?
Dance magic dance.

I used to have both. Both were fine online.

XBL does has more people with mics, which I like for games that need teamwork like BF.
I'm not a kid, I just act like one

Ehh from my experience they're both the same.

I own both, they are identical, every PS4 comes with a mic, but people tend not to use them, my experience on Xbox is mostly a bunch of screaming children >_<

Both are, more or less, the same.
I'm not the nicest person you'll meet.
Have a real point please.

As far as in-game connection qualities, they're both equally fine.

Also, more people use their mics (outside of private chat) on XBL though (that can be both a blessing and a curse). PSN has more people, but it still seems really quiet.

I own both and I'd say they're pretty much the same.

PSN is down now I believe due to denial of service attacks and has had issues with people stealing customers sensitive and financial information.

XBL seemed much better than PSN last gen but so far with the X1 there's been quite a few instances of it being down for short periods.

So both are great 99.99% of the time but if the previous instance of stolen details bothers you, then That's the only major flaw in either that I can think of. Overall, you'll be happy with both services.
Thanks for the response and have a blessed day.

I prefer the Xbox One for Xbox Live (and much more exclusives I can relate with).

*Looks at PSN's current status
*Realizes PSN was scheduled to be down all day tomorrow
I'll pay you back when I make it big
