been seeing a lot of talk about trading in destiny

Couldnt they set it up kind of like some MMO? Where items have a certain rarity and you can only trade items under a specific rarity? Is there anything wrong with that setting? Or do people really want to spend hours grinding and then giving the top level gear they spent hours to get to people who just started?

I don't know. Why make the game coop if we can't share items at least low grade ones?

This also means we won't be able to trade raid drops gained as a team. Which is stupid if I get a drop my friend would want but I don't need why shouldn't I be able to give it to him when we earned it as a team?

Well i dont know how duping works i assume you trade someone an item then turn your console off before saving right? If that is the case since you are online obviously when you trade why not set up a trading post like thing when you have to trade with people there specifically and it force saves during the trade and if either player disconnect it cancels the trade and if it becomes a habit of them DCing ban them from trades for a while or so haha idk just throwing ideas out there. Since i know halo had the thing where if you DC'ed to much you couldnt join games for a while make something like that for trading

Duping doesn't work in an always on environment, loot in Bungie is stored server side you literally can't influence it.

MMOs rarely have duping, Diablo 3 on PC has no duping,...
