Playing through computer monitor, sound issue

#1FSOPPosted 8/25/2014 7:30:34 PM
I plugged in my Logitech computer speakers for my sound and I'm only getting audio out of one of the speakers.

Does anyone have a solution? I've tried restarting everything already

So you're going HDMI out to monitor then plugging speakers into the monitor?

Try adjusting audio output type in settings?

You got it. I tried that but couldn't get anything to work. The options were like stereo, 5.1, and 7.1. Anything but stereo wouldn't apply for a second since my speakers don't support those

If only one speaker works, the other may be broken (faulty wire).

No other reason for only one to work.

Try headphones through the monitor and see if both sides work.

It's not Rocket Surgery. Narrow it down to find the problem. It's only going to be one of 3 things. The Xbone, monitor, or speakers.
