I don't see how this could've happened, apparently according to the images on the article below Xbone version has better lighting.

This screenshot comparison between the Xbox One and PS4 version of Madden NFL 15 tell us the real story of the visual effects that these leading consoles offer.

Although we acknowledge that this screenshot is not in full resolution of 1080p but this screen comparison surely makes us curious to know why Lighting is better in Xbox One for Madden NFL 15

Please guys don't send EA threats to their Twitter or Facebook accounts saying that Microbone payed EA off to gimp the PS4 version.

I bet they mixed up the pictures. That could be a possibility.

In the past ea always seemed to put more effort in xbox games, well football. Ncaa football had years of brown, not gold Notre Dame helmets for instance on the ps3 version.

I can tell you why the lighting is different between the two.

PS4 version does not have a sun reflecting the light in the same position as the Xbox One.

Look, no sun in the top corner, means its a different time of day or whatever they use for their weather/daylight system

Lighting is different because time of day in pictures is different, so the shadows aren't cast the same.

Its nothing to do with the systems in that screen.

"It's the same time of day the Ps4 sun just doesn't shine"

ROFL - Ya... it's 2014 and next gen games randomly forget a feature that Atari games had.

Nah, the timing is different and the suns below the stadius, its why the crowd isnt getting sun illuminated, but theres still enough light in the stadium to keep the lights off.

The shadows are stretched different on players too, which when running in the same engine, would indicate the timing is different.
