Did Titanfall really flop/do bad?

Overrated, overhyped.

It was bundled as a free game with certain.bundles..that might have inflated the sales numbers...not sure though

It succeeded in a way but it wasn't the success the pre-release press wanted it to be. Have you checked VGCharts OP? According to that, Titanfall has sold over 2 million units across all three platforms it launched on. It sold best on the XBone which is good and it's the top-selling game for the Xbone in general which is also good. The thing is, there are 5 million Xbones sold at this point...If Titanfall was meant to be THE must-have game on the Xbone, it isn't exactly there yet since according to the numbers, only 2 out of 5 Xboners will have Titanfall.

that games is nothing compared to goat sim. MS wins in every category of game

the only reason it sold is because there was nothing out at the time.

Tell them to release it in November and see what happens...

IMO, to have been really succesfull, Titanfall would have neede

Bigger maps (Mix between current size and BF4 size)
More players
Less useless bots
More weapons
More mechs types
Customisation
