How come my ONE never notifies me of an update?

How do you manually update? Since I heard people got the September update already but I got nothing... Or was it just preview members?

I got the update yesterday and I'm not a preview member, but I also never know when it updates because it does it in the background all the time when it's in stand by. To manually update go to settings, system and you'll see an update console option there, it'll be lit up white if there's an update available, greyed out if there isn't.

To have it update manually you go to the power and start-up section in settings, make sure power saver is set to off so it always just goes into stand by and have the auto update/download updates in background box checked (forgot what it's called).

ah good to know it does it in standby. Is there a way to do that with games? I remember I bought one from my phone early in the day with the hopes of having it ready to go by the time I got home and instead the purchase went through but I had to manually select the game and prompt it to start downloading

I think they either added that recently or will be adding it soon as long as you have your console set to download updates automatically. Again not sure if that's live yet or not though.
