It's awesome to have a media app, but...

Why the crap can I not listen to my own music over my games like the original Xbox allowed (On specific titles) and the Xbox 360 allowed on every game? Also, snapping is not the same thing, it takes up screen space and it's annoying, but this media app seems to not even allow snapping yet...smh

Call me when MKV support is added.

Then it'll be useful.

I am also VERY disappointed that there seems to be no computer visuals to put on screen while your music plays. I was seriously looking forward to see what they would have for the next gen; graphics wise. Oh we'll hopefully they add something, otherwise I will have to keep my 360 forever.

I know, but they didn't even talk about adding anything I mentioned, just support for gifs and some other format in the fall. Disappointing...

Also: I thought they had mkv on the list for useable formats.?

I think it is on the list, but isn't supported yet.

It the only file format I'd have a use for.

Just curious, is mkv better then mp4 or avi?

I hope we get frequent updates to this thing. It's sweet that's it's there, but I personally don't have many uses for it right now. I will say, music sounds very crisp and great on it though. Shame there's no visualizers yet like someone above said, but o well...maybe one day :P

IMO, yeah. But that's because many HD rips are MKV.
MP4 and avi are more for smaller compressed files.
