Space Engineers will probably push the XB1 to its limits. Maybe even beyond.

I have SE on pc and even with my setup it lags a lot when using a big drilling setup. It gets that bad that drilling can freeze the game so that the only way to fix it is to quit using the task manager and restart. Considering that in order to get the materials you need to build things you first have to mine asteroids, this could be a big problem. Unless you're prepared to only use the hand drill, you're going to have to use the big drill bit. The game isn't finished yet and they are constantly fixing bugs and adding new things but as it stands it's a taxing game that pushes some pcs to their limit. I wonder if the XB1 will suffer the same problems or will they be able to get it stable enough by the time it gets released?

It's basically Minecraft in space. There's no real objectives to speak of other than creating and surviving in space. The only limit is your imagination. I've been working on a space station built inside an asteroid with my brother. Got a fair bit done but drilling is slowing us down.

Nice work, looking good.
Unbearable is it? The suffering of strangers, the agony of friends.
There's a secret song at the center of the world and its sound is like razors through flesh

Thanks. The asteroid we used is from a mod so it won't be one that you can use on XB1 but there are still a few that are suitable. Just not quite as big. The lag is just as bad though. I think people are going to be blown away by just how much you can actually do in SE.
