should Xbox One even release in Japan?

with last night's pre-TGS Sony showing, Playstation got a bunch of Japanese games shown. Will Xbox even have a chance over there? I was holding out hope for Microsoft announcing a few great Japan games, and Sony catering mainly to the Western market to give One a fighting chance over there, but now nothing short of Monster Hunter would save Xbox over there. Scalebound looks promising, but is it worth it for MS to launch the console over there just for a few hit games?

I say yes. Then hopefully the X1 can see more JRPG's.

Heh, didn't know that Japan would get it before Scandinavia.

Absolutely it should release. Would damage Microsoft more not to release in Japan. Japan is an important territory for video games companies, they lead the industry for years prior to the HD era the biggest third party games all came from Japan. Microsoft needs to compete in Japan to win. Xbox 360 had some great jrpgs and I hope Microsoft is able to get the same level of support for xbox one as they did for xbox 360 in japan

It didn't do much for the 360. I think MH works better as a handheld game anyway though.
