If you keep playing in short bouts, you'll eventually get better and can complete the game in under an hour. It won't happen the first time, but that's how Mega Man games are. --- https://gamingandthinking.blogspot.com/
It takes like an hour to get to the final 4 bosses, on a first play through. 5 hours? Are you kidding?
TWO hours tops to complete the whole game and that's with a lot of suck-age going on...like repeating a few stages twice. The boss order is somewhere in the forums if you really wanna blitz it fast.
You must be new...
And no, there's no Konami code buddy, it's supposed to be an old school homage... There were no save points in action games back in the 80's and early 90's. Get over it. You can't even change the controls so why would there be a "secret save system"?
LOL Is this a joke topic? Like really...? --- Gamefaqs - Where you TOO can get an extra dose of textual diarrhea.
I remember playing the MM games where it autosaves, so I would play, and go back and not fight all 8 from scratch.
5 hours was my estimate. I didn't know the levels were that short to beat it in an hour haha. Especially since it takes a while to beat bosses(unless these bosses are much easier). --- 3DS FC: 4554-0309-4782
On a first playthrough on the other MM games, I would die like 10-20 times. But, like the first poster mentioned, the more times you play, the better you get. At least, that's how it worked for 9/10. It took a while to actually beat 9 and 10 :O --- 3DS FC: 4554-0309-4782
