Does Ryu actually have a weakness?

Yes, I know that if you throw an Aegis Reflector in front of him while he's chucking Hadokens, he'll cause massive damage!! to himself, but that's not what I'm talking about.

Is there a weapon that, when used to hit Ryu directly, does three ticks of damage to his health bar, like the other bosses?

I've tried every weapon against him, but none seem to do the trick.

Maybe Soul Satellite (the actual orbiting stuff) deals 2 damage or something? I can't remember.

But yeah, Aegis is supposed to be the main weakness. You can cast a shield and switch to other weapons while it's still active, though.

why does Aegis Reflector not count as his "actual" weakness? That's what you're supposed to use against him

Yes. It deals 2 damage to her, both the shield and her reflected projectile. And deals like... a kajillion damage to Ryu.

It makes perfect sense tbh.

HIs hadokens are too strong for him to handle. Anybody who gets their shot deflected back at them should be in serious pain. That's like someone reflecting Goku's kamehameha at him. He will be hurt by it.
