Mmmm, Chrono X. I remember a thread on SA where the makers got called out for simply recycling bits of sprites and calling the new enemy an "original creation". Also, really stereotypical badguy names for bosses, from what I remember.

For me, the most exciting of those is Corrupted.

My favorite is Mega Man Coop. It's awesome to play through a Mega Man game with a friend, and fight two bosses at once.

I'm excited for Corrupted, but it'll be PC only.

Eclipse looks to have much more variety with platforms (windows, mac, OUYA, android, possibly steam) and promises to be more of a classic X game.

If this is the case, people better get it quick before Capcom slaps a lawsuit on them. Releasing on Android and Steam is a good way for Capcom to find out about it, and Svensson made it pretty clear that they will shut down any fan games they find out about. I have also seen people on YouTube channels for fan games saying they submitted it to Capcom, dumb asses not paying attention seem to be going out of their way to get fan games shut down.

If what Sven said is true, howcome Street Fighter X Mega Man wasn't shut down? And I'd be very surprised if they haven't even heard of Corrupted yet.

Edit: Just came across this from Wikipedia:

However, Capcom Senior Vice President Christian Svennson has stated that, while they legally can't sanction fangames, they won't proactively go after them either.[10] More recently, Capcom took Seo Zong Hui's Street Fighter X Mega Man and funded it, promoting it from a simple fangame, to an actual official Mega Man game.[11]

It wasn't shut down because it came at the perfect time: the end of the SF anniversary and the beginning of the MM one.
