I thought Chikorita was either a magic bean or a piece of chewed up juicy fruit with a leaf stuck in it.

And does Bulbasaurs japanese name refer to dinosaurs? English names don't mean crap.

I always thought he was more of a newt but whatever.

Ahh, you're right Bulbasaur looks more like a Dino, but there's no denying that Venusaur is a Frog or Toad. It even has a bunch of warts on it.

It's not so much a remora turning into an octopus as it is a handgun turning into a turret/artillery.
