There should be a feature where certain Pokemon will be available in the wild based on season.

So in Fall time, Gen I Pokemon will be prevalent in the wild. Winter time, Gen II Pokemon, Spring Time, Gen III. Summer time, Gen IV

and so forth

I like the idea, and Gen 6 Pokemon can just be available all year around.

Pretty much what they said. That's a horrible idea. Unless they make seasons shorter, I really don't want to have to wait a month to get a pokemon just because of the stupid in-game season.

Just make sure it's mostly in the post game, like in Unova.

It would make no sense to be able to find Pokemon like Abamasnow and Cubchoo in the summer, and Cherim and Oddish in the winter etc.
