Agreed. The deer looks majestic, pretty much all the recent cover legends just try to look like a BAMF, but the deer captures a sense of majesty that makes me fall in love with his design

The bird looks boring, and the deer looks like a Suicune wannabe. Both lame.

I like Y-bird. Stantler didn't need a Christmas-tree evolution, IMO.

Also, look at the version letters. X version only shows the top two prongs of the X as the X-Deer's antlers.

Y version has the claws of all three appendages of the Y-Bird.

I love the Y bird. It looks like a menacing predator and makes me think of garudas from FF10. I just hope they don't be lame and make it part dragon. Please just be a dark/psychic bird. Or something. And I meen either or not both of those
