Gen 1: 151 Gen 2: 100 Gen 3: 135 Gen 4:107 Gen 5: 156
See how even number tend to have lower number of new pokemon while odd numbers have much more? My guess is that the new gen will have somewhere between 100 and 110 new pokemons. --- Pokemon X/Y are going to blow my mind. They already are. Official Roserade of the Pokemon X/Y boards

The president says there will be around 700. Gen 5 ended in 650 something, right? 150 is out of the question then. +100 is a good estimate. --- Nintendo Network ID: sselemanrm Less is more. Everything you want, isn't everything you need.

Somewhere between 100 and 120. Gens 2 and 4 had less than Gens 1 and 3 respectively, so I'm just following the pattern. --- Gotta catch em ALL? Good luck with that these days, kids!
