How many new pokemon do you expect them to introduce this gen?

And also, how many of the new Pokemon do you think you'll actually like.

Doubt anywhere close to 100 unless they keep doing what they've done the past two or three generations and recycle Pokemon

Something tells me that it's going to be like gold & silver where a majority will be new forms of old Pokemon.

It's an even Gen, meaning it'll probably be 100ish, with a significant portion of them being related to previous mons

Gen 1: 151
Gen 2: 100
Gen 3: 135
Gen 4:107
Gen 5: 156

See how even number tend to have lower number of new pokemon while odd numbers have much more? My guess is that the new gen will have somewhere between 100 and 110 new pokemons.

Pokemon X/Y are going to blow my mind. They already are.

The president says there will be around 700. Gen 5 ended in 650 something, right? 150 is out of the question then. +100 is a good estimate.

Somewhere between 100 and 120. Gens 2 and 4 had less than Gens 1 and 3 respectively, so I'm just following the pattern.

Gotta catch em ALL? Good luck with that these days, kids!
