This is a split board - You can return to the Split List for other boards.

So based on the trailer, it won't be like Black/White...

in the sense that you won't be restricted to only catching new pokemon throughout the playthrough of the game.

Is this a good thing, or a bad thing? I think it's fantastic because now we'll be able to see some of our classic favorites rendered in beautiful 3D. Awesome.

Thoughts?

If it's like Hoenn was, then the select oldies that they put in will certainly NOT be ones that I would use. Still, it's good for people that want some old things to help ease them into these newer 'mons.

Incredible, actually. I didn't really like a lot of the Unova Pokemon until the halfway to endgame points of the game. Though I still hope that this game has its own share of new Pokemon to hold its own.

I will be using six Pikachus. There's no other rational way to go.

I guess it's a good thing. I'm a huge Glaceon fan so it would be cool if I can get an Eevee and turn it into Glaceon soon after catching it. That's probably the only old pokemon I would use in my first run.

It's probably because Gen 6 isn't going to introduce nearly as many pokemon as B/W.

Leap in logic. It could just as easily be because they're pulling a gen 3

Which possibly included pokemon from previous gens because they felt anything under 150 was too few.
