The birds legs go together and its wings are spread out high and wide, like a Y.

The deer stands all regal and strong, with its legs as wide as its antlers, hence X.

The bird is red and Y-shape, and Y's logo evokes the shape of feathers.
Meanwhile X's logo, the upper top resembles the deer's horns.

'cause the body of the Y could be its head, while the top of the Y could be the antlers. It just makes way more sense to me
